Economics at Hangzhou Dipont School of Arts and Science equips students with the knowledge and skills to understand the complex world around them. Through engaging lessons case studies and real-world applications our Senior School Economics teachers help students explore how societies make choices how markets function and how global issues shape our lives. The mission of Hangzhou Dipont School of Arts and Science is to provide differentiated education for the development of each student. Senior School

In Grade 9 upon completion of the compulsory Chinese curriculum Chinese pupils transfer to our International Curriculum Centre. Pupils will have a distinct provision with a focus on developing strength in English to allow access to CIE A-level courses in Grades 11 and 12.

In Grade 11 pupils are placed in English and mathematics classes appropriate to their level. Chinese is compulsory for native addition students have the opportunity to study five subjects at AS level chosen from science humanities and aesthetics before progressing to the study of three to five A2 subjects plus English at the appropriate level.

• Bachelors degree in Economics or related fields; Masters degree preferred
