Job Description
Our client provides exceptional electronics and software engineering expertise design and integration of high-load switching and communication platforms thin clients Linux and embedded devices for IoT (internet of things) enterprise telecom and industrial applications. The company has been on the market since 2009. There are two offices - in Israel and Kyiv the main development center is located in Kyiv. The company has two directions - design and product. The main field of activity is the development of software and hardware for switches network equipment and embedded systems. Since projects are the historical foundation and basis of the company when working with customers projects they are constantly developing technologically keeping their finger on the pulse and trying to make high-quality projects.
On the project you will work as a team along with the developers and the development team leader. Now they have several teams divided into 3 departments. They have several projects in the works at the same time the company has been operating for more than 10 years and has successfully completed many projects various projects last from 3 months to several years. The head of the group department and technical director are nearby in Kyiv. Project Managers and VP R&D - in Israel.
We are looking for a specialist who has a good understanding of Ethernet networks and network equipment is able to test it and sees his own development in this field.
Requirements:
- Experience and knowledge of networks (L2/L3 protocols including VLAN STP IGMP OSPF BGP ARP)
- Experience configuring Cisco or other network equipment via CLI
- Experience with Linux
- Experience with service settings (Syslog RADIUS Samba etc)
- Experience with Python (scapy setuptools regular expressions pyexpect) or other scripting languages
- English is required for reading and writing technical documentation
- Ability to learn initiative responsibility for the result
Preferred requirements:
- Experience as a system administrator
- CCNA certification will also be an advantage
Responsibilities:
- Testing software for managing routers
- Preparation of test plans
- Carrying out manual tests
- Writing scripts (mainly in Python) for automated testing

- RedMine as Bug/Task Tracker
- GitLab as Version control and Continuous Integration
- TestRail for working with test plans
- Python system for automated testing
