Job Summary
As a key part of the Data Center Operations team you will lead design and construction administration on large scale projects as Apples Owners Representative for the Mechanical Engineer team as a domain expert.
- BS in Mechanical Engineering or a related field or equivalent job-related experience
- 5 years experience with large mechanical cooling systems
- Ability to travel
- 8 years of experience in Mission Critical facilities design construction and/or operations
- 2 years of operational experience as a mechanical engineer data center domain expert
- Model system performance efficiency and reliability to prescribe improvement opportunities
- Experience with complex system upgrade projects or refreshes to operating facility and site
- Ability to Identify and resolve project issues problems and deficiencies early and directly
- Pragmatic and intuitive system design skills to reduce operational complexity and risks
- Complex Level 5 integrated systems test (IST) and commissioning experience
- Building Automation Systems (BAS) sequence of operations (SOO) development and tuning
- Deep dive on system and component failure root-cause analysis (RCAs) and life expectancy
