One YMCA is seeking a Deputy Supported Housing Manager to oversee our High Wycombe service. This is a pivotal role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about transforming lives.

As Deputy Manager you will play a key role in delivering high-quality supported housing services for individuals with complex needs. You will take responsibility for the day-to-day management of the service providing strong leadership to a dedicated team and ensuring residents receive the best possible support.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who can balance multiple priorities inspire others and bring a strong commitment to improving outcomes for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide effective line management supervision and support to a team of 20 staff.
Ensure services consistently meet regulatory safeguarding and quality standards.
Work collaboratively with colleagues across One YMCA and with external partners.
Contribute to service development and continuous improvement initiatives.
Oversee timely and appropriate interventions for residents including referrals and liaison with health social care and community services.
Support recruitment training and induction of new team members.

About You:
Proven experience of managing supported housing or similar services.
Strong leadership and team management skills with experience overseeing 5 staff including performance management and development.
Understanding of complex needs such as mental health substance misuse and homelessness.
Excellent communication organisational and problem-solving skills.

This is a Full Time role.
Hours per week: 37.5
Working Pattern: Shifts on a rota between 0800 - 2200 with some weekend and bank holidays

  • Community HUBs hosting a range of activities and meeting space hire
  • Childcare provision in Hertfordshire
  • Family support through a network of childrens and family centres covering Hertfordshire and Bedford
  • Therapeutic and non-therapeutic support for male and female victims of domestic abuse and their children
  • Independent sexual violence services across Bedfordshire Luton and Hertfordshire
  • Domestic abuse perpetrator reform programmes across Bedfordshire
  • Youth services offering emotional wellbeing support and youth club opportunities for 11-19 year olds alongside our National Airplay programme funded by the RAF Benevolent Fund
