Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivatedQuality Control Inspector / CMM Operatorto join our production this role you will be responsible for inspecting components subassemblies and final products to ensure they meet internal and customer specifications. You will play a critical role in maintaining our reputation for performance and precision by supporting a culture of quality across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform incoming in-process and final inspections of parts assemblies and finished products
- Program and Operate Coordinate Measurement Machine (CMM) and useprecision measuring tools (e.g. calipers micrometers gauges) to verify dimensions and tolerances
- Use precision measuring tools (e.g. calipers micrometers gauges CMM) to verify dimensions and tolerances
- Interpret engineering drawings blueprints and specifications to assess product conformance
- Document inspection results and maintain accurate quality records
- Identify nonconformities and collaborate with manufacturing and engineering teams to resolve issues
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by contributing feedback and participating in root cause analysis
- Assist with calibration and maintenance of inspection tools and equipment
- Ensure compliance with ISO standards company policies and safety procedures
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certificate or associate degree preferred
- 2 years of experience in a quality assurance or mechanical inspection role preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of GD&T and blueprint reading
- Proficient with precision measuring instruments and inspection techniques
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 or similar quality management systems
- Basic computer skills and experience with inspection reporting systems
- Excellent attention to detail communication skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team
