As a Best Buy Customer Care Fraud Analyston our Enterprise Fraud Response team youll be at the forefront of protecting Best Buys customer experience and brand integrity. Youll dive into data uncover patterns and help stop fraud before it starts. If youre curious analytical and thrive in fast-paced environments this role gives you the chance to make a real impact across our global customer care operations.This role is hybrid which means you will work some days at our corporate office in Richfield Minnesota and some days virtually from home or another non-Best Buy location. The specific work arrangements vary by role and team. The recruiter or hiring manager will provide more details during the hiring processWhat youll do- Monitor internal and external data to spot suspicious activity
- Use tools like SQL and others to build dashboards and reports to easily identify anomaly within data
- Investigate potential fraud cases and escalate when needed
- Collaborate with teams across Risk Legal and Operations
- Analyze trends and behaviors to improve fraud detection
- Recommend process and tool enhancements to reduce risk
Basic qualifications- 1 years of fraud or investigations experience
- 1 years in E-Commerce Retail Customer Service or Geek Squad
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Clear communicator with both technical and non-technical audiences
Preferred qualifications- Bachelors degree in a related field (e.g. Data Analytics Criminal Justice)
- Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) or similar certification
- Experience with third-party labor models or customer service environments
- Familiarity with fraud detection software and case management tools
- Proficient in SQL; experience with Teradata or GCP
