About the role
We are currently looking for an experienced Backend Developer who hasthe capability know-how and wherewithal to help drive forward thecompanys technical vision whilst remaining very hands on. This is an
exceptional opportunity to join a young mobile & web productteam. Youll be responsible for designing implementing and deployingnew and existing applications and products for Research Central.

Skills
- Excellent understanding of server side development;
- Excellent understanding of one or more of Python Scala or JavaScript;
- Great testing discipline;
- Good understanding of Git and its workflow;
- Used to Vagrant or Docker and virtualized development environments;
- Used to deploying applications to PaaS and bare metal servers;
- Used to deploying applications with Continuous Integration;
- You feel comfortable with the whole HTTP stack from the protocol up to JSON / HTML and its representations;
- Experience with relational databases preferably PostgreSQL;
- Perfect written and spoken English;
- UK resident / EU working visa.
Bonus
- Familiar with JavaScript frameworks such as React.
