What you will do:
- Execute and optimize settlement processes for financial and physical electricity products
- Manage and analyze large volumes of data ensuring accuracy and consistency
- Develop advanced SQL queries to extract transform and validate information
- Work closely with trading risk and operations teams to ensure correct settlement and adjustment of contracts
- Propose improvements in processes and tools leveraging autonomy to innovate
- Learn first-hand about energy markets financial hedges and settlement mechanisms
What you bring & who you are:
- Strong command of SQL and relational databases (must-have)
- Academic background in Mathematics Physics Statistics Engineering Data Analytics or related fields (must-have)
- Analytical detail-oriented and efficient working style (must-have)
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and ensure timely completion (must-have)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills (must-have)
- Ideally experience in settlement financial markets or energy
- Ideally experience with process improvement and team collaboration
- Open to learning new tools and systemsapply even if you dont meet every requirement!
