Your Mission:

• Architect & Deliver: Design and lead the delivery of sophisticated e-commerce integrations and scalable backend services used across multiple platforms.
• Drive Technical Evolution: Take ownership of our core backend systems making key decisions on architecture scalability and technology (with Laravel at the core).
• API Strategist: Lead the design of our REST APIs focusing on reliability consistency and excellent documentation to ensure a seamless developer experience.
• Best Practices-Champion: Set the bar for code quality security and performance through modern DevOps workflows Docker CI/CD testing strategies and thoughtful code reviews.
• Be a Technical Partner: Collaborate with Project Managers and stakeholders to translate complex needs into clear actionable plans and ensure timely high-quality delivery.
• Mentor & Inspire: Elevate the skills of your teammates through active mentoring pair programming sessions and by fostering a culture of technical excellence.

Your Superpowers:

• PHP & Laravel: 46 years of professional experience in backend development with PHP demonstrating a strong background in Laravel.
• Integration Leader: A proven track record of designing building and maintaining complex API integrations and RESTful architectures.
• DevOps Mindset: Strong experience with Docker and containerized development. You are proficient with Git and modern CI/CD practices.
• Database Architect: Excellent SQL skills with deep experience in performance tuning advanced data modeling and query optimization.
• Commitment to Quality: A robust testing mindset (unit integration) and practical experience with debugging and observability (logging monitoring tracing).
• Mentor & Builder: You enjoy coaching junior developers sharing knowledge and raising code quality standards.
• Impact Focused: You thrive on owning projects end to end and delivering real business impact.
• Clear Communication: You can articulate complex technical ideas clearly and effectively in English. German proficiency is a plus.
• E-Commerce Edge: Prior experience with marketplace/e-commerce platforms is a strong plus (plentyOne JTL Shopware 6 Mirakl).
