Job Summary

Occupational Therapist (Permanent Role)
Location: Fort Pierce FL 34945
Shift: 12 hr Days 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM
Guaranteed Hours: (36 hours/week)
Compensation: Based on experience (Negotiable)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate patients physical and functional abilities and develop appropriate treatment plans.
  • Administer therapeutic interventions to restore function improve mobility relieve pain and prevent or limit permanent physical disabilities.
  • Collaborate with physicians nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Educate patients and families about treatment plans progress and goals.
  • Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
  • Adhere to regulatory and facility guidelines and protocols.

Required Qualifications:

  • Occupational Therapy Bachelors Degree (or higher)
  • Active OT license in the state of Florida
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification-must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in Occupational Therapy within acute care inpatient or rehabilitation settings
  • Strong interpersonal communication and organizational skills
