Job Summary
RN Trauma Step-Down/PCU (Permanent Role)
Location: Bradenton FL 34201
Shift: 12 hr Nights 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM
Guaranteed Hours: (36 hours/week)
Compensation: Based on experience (Negotiable)
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to trauma step-down and PCU patients.
- Monitor assess and respond to changes in patient conditions.
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with care plans.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.
- Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner.
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and post-discharge care.
- Uphold all safety infection control and quality standards.
Qualifications:
- Active RN license in the state of Florida.
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience in an acute care setting is required.
- Experience in a hospital LTACH (Long-Term Acute Care Hospital) home health or rehab considered.
- Trauma/Step-Down/PCU experience.
- BLS and ACLS certifications (must be current). Required
- Strong critical thinking communication and time management skills.
