Job Summary
Job Summary (List Format):
- Position: Cath Lab Tech
- Location: Auburn NY
- Pay: $3600 per week (includes $1246 stipend)
- Schedule: 5x8 hour day shifts start ASAP
- Unit: New Cath Lab unit
- Experience Required: Minimum 2 years as a Cath Lab Tech
- Duties:
- Precept new staff joining the Cath Lab
- Scrub-in for surgical procedures
- Circulate within the procedure room to perform non-sterile tasks
- Operate radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment (GE)
- Produce images during procedures using Mac Lab charting
- Handle equipment including balloon pumps
- Administer conscious sedation
- Take Stemi call as required
- Certifications & Licensure:
- RCIS or ARRT certification required
- Certification and registration in Cardiovascular (CV) Interventional Radiology (IR) or Vascular-Interventional Technology (VI) by ARRT
- NYS Rad Tech license required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required
- Call Requirements:
- One week every three weeks (4:30p-8a plus all day Saturday and Sunday)
- Other:
- Facility may cancel up to 3 shifts at no cost during assignment
- Must meet all state and specialty-specific requirements
