Qualifying Questions:

Summary:

Develop integrate and document structural requirements to guide system design.
Use analytical methods FEA models/simulations and industry tools to verify structural integrity throughout the product lifecycle.
Create and execute test plans; analyze and report results to validate compliance with specs and certification standards.
Investigate in-service product issues identify root causes and recommend improvements.
Develop tools and processes to enhance analysis quality and efficiency.
Work independently with minimal direction (non-managerial role).

Requirements:

Ability to obtain secret clearance
Bachelors degree in engineering computer science math physics or chemistry (ABET preferred) or equivalent experience.
10 years of structural analysis experience.
8 years analyzing primary structures subsystems or weapons in aerospace.
Proficiency in hand calculations CAD (PRO-E SolidWorks AutoCAD NX/Teamcenter CATIA/ENOVIA) FEM (PATRAN/NASTRAN StressCheck Hyperworks Abaqus) and MS Office.
Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).

Preferred Skills:

Experience with tools (CAESAR Lifeworks Mechanica Common Structures Workstation).
