Job Summary
Role: Senior IBM DataStage Developer
Work location: Mahwah NJ (Onsite)

Position General Duties and Tasks:
- Senior IBM DataStage Developer
- We are looking for an experienced Senior IBM DataStage Engineer to join our dynamic and growing this role you will play a pivotal part in supporting clients DataStage ETL application environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and support production issues analyze and fix Job failures and give permanent fix when possible.
- Collaborate with client stake holders and other teams including onshore and offshore.
- Implement changes as per customer requirements.
- Guide application deployments.
- Suggest improvements for better performance.
- Resolve issues reported in lower environments.
- Mentor junior team members.
- Participate in code reviews.
- Work independently while being part of a bigger team.
Skills and Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of applications development experience in IBM DataStage.
- 5 years of Linux Shell scripting experience
- 5 years of working experience with SQL server
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Experience working in an onsite/offshore development environment
- A strong team player who is self-motivated dependable proactive organized
- Attention to detail and data accuracy
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Candidate must be in East Coast region
