Location: San Francisco CA (Onsite)

Contract duration :Long Term

About the Role:

Were seeking an experienced Stibo STEP MDM Architect to drive the design implementation and optimization of master data management solutions using the Stibo STEP platform. Youll operate in a hybrid environment collaborating closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to shape scalable high-quality MDM architectures.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead requirements-gathering and high-level design workshops to translate business needs into technical solutions.
Architect and implement end-to-end STEP solutions: configure data structures workflows portals and business rules and support data migration efforts.
Define and enforce data governance strategies including roles policies controls and compliance measures.
Provide hands-on technical leadership-mentor team members oversee solution delivery support test phases (integration UAT) and guide deployment cycles.
Troubleshoot STEP solutions resolve performance issues and enhance system integration (APIs ETL etc.).
Draft and maintain documentation: design specs architecture diagrams governance policies and data models.
Stay updated with Stibo STEP best practices and MDM trends; potentially secure STEP certifications.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in CS IT or related field (Masters preferred).
8 15 years of IT experience including multiple full-cycle Stibo STEP MDM implementations (ideally 4).
Deep technical proficiency in Stibo STEP platform-including architecture configuration integration and MDM/PIM workflows.
Strong skills in Java/JavaScript SQL XML data modeling and integration technologies (ETL APIs).
Excellent workshop leadership communication collaboration and team mentoring abilities.

Nice-to-Haves

STEP certification or related training.
Experience with system observability or monitoring frameworks (e.g. built in SaaS environments).
