Job Opportunity: Columbus Ohio
Our client is looking for a Project Manager to join their team. Our client is growing fast globally and looking for top talent to join their team. They are a leading global supplier of Abrasive Blasting and Painting Facilities to a range of different industries.
The Project Manager will be responsible for managing and delivering large projects dealing with abrasive blasting and protective coating spray facilities. This includes design construction of the facility as well as the installation / commissioning of supplied equipment.
Requirements/Qualifications:
- 10 years of experience in managing capital projects for industrial facilities and/or equipment supply.
- 10 years of experience with management of installation startup and commissioning of industrial projects.
- Understanding of project management tools and procedures.
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering Construction Management or related discipline.
- Excellent customer management skills.
- Strong understanding of industrial projects and equipment.
- Excellent organization and project management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities/Duties:
- Develop technical solutions w/options - in conjunction with SMEs.
- Create budget proposals schedules and bills of material.
- Support procurement and material staging/ preparation.
- Coordinate rental equipment.
- Issue submit and track RFIs and Submittals in Procore.
- Engage with a wide range of sub-contractors to obtain accurate & competitive costs when necessary.
- Create polished presentations with high level detail.
- Evaluate and oversight of general contractors or other sub-contractors.
