As a key part of SAS Airline Operations you will oversee the development and execution of our external production platform ensuring efficiency compliance and strong collaboration with our partners all to deliver a seamless travel experience for our customers.
In this dynamic role you will:
General responsibilities
Support the VP Airline Operations in tactical and operational development (up to 18 months horizon).
Conduct analysis modelling and documentation.
Establish the yearly Tactical Implementation Plan and represent External Production internally and externally.
Governance & Business Development
Develop governance structures between SAS and external partners.
Maintain the External Production Playbook and team site.
Manage wet lease contracts supplier training concepts and business reviews.
Ensure regulatory compliance and oversee supplier phase-in/out processes.
Planning & Operational
Secure standards for Traffic Planning Elements (TPE) and manage the Plan-to-Execution process.
Analyze traffic planning adherence develop KPIs and run the yearly planning cycle.
Monitor daily operations automate performance reporting and lead operational meetings.
Ensure SLA/KPI follow-up visualize performance and address operational issues with partners.
Service Delivery & Collaboration
Monitor supplier service delivery and conduct regular reviews.
Coordinate internal stakeholder activities and manage performance reporting.
Represent External Production in cross-functional forums and manage relations with SAS central support functions.
Present project results and business cases to internal and external stakeholders.
You will join the Airline Operations business unit reporting to the VP Airline Operations. Youll work closely with colleagues across Network Management Safety & Quality Inflight Ground Operations and other central functions while building strong partnerships with external suppliers. Strong ability to analyze and structure complex planning material.
Experience managing supplier relations agreements and negotiations.
A background in aviation or other complex operational industries.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to build sustainable relationships.
Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional leadership skills.
Change management experience and the ability to create structure in a changing environment.
High drive integrity and a problem-solving mindset.
Proficiency in O365 (Teams Excel PowerPoint Word Forms); Power BI skills are a plus.
Fluency in English and at least one Scandinavian language.
Education & Experience:
Bachelors degree in Business Engineering or Law or equivalent experience.
58 years of professional experience preferably in the airline industry.
Minimum 5 years of experience in contract management and negotiations.
Knowledge of Lean principles and practical use of lean tools is advantageous.
