Nucor Detailing Center and Vulcraft located in Norfolk Nebraska is seeking candidates to join our 2026 Drafting/Modeling Summer Internship are seeking current college students who would like an introduction to steel structures and steel detailing. Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate lead and uphold safety policies practices procedures and housekeeping standards at all times.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Current student working toward a degree in Structural or Architectural Drafting or a related field on track to graduate the Fall 2026 or Spring 2027 graduating year.
- Must have basic knowledge of construction practices
- CAD experience as well as Microsoft Office software experience.
- Recommendation of Drafting Instructor is required.

This position pays a competitive wage and will be managed through a local Temporary Staffing Employment Service. These full-time internships start May 18 2026 and extend thru August 7 2026.
