Internship - Statistics
Chilindo is looking for a bright Intern to assist our CEO and IT department in creating statistic formulas and algorithms in order to improve the customer experience on our e-commerce platform. You will get the chance to make a direct impact on our business outcome and create the exciting processes behind this field. The ideal candidate will have interest and educational background in statistics mathematics quantitative disciplines or data analysis. Responsibilities:
- Create formulas and algorithms to improve the customer experience (I.e product feed)
- Conduct analysis and dig deep into large data sets to identify any potential weak points than can be enhanced
- Guide data requirements by working with other data management analytic technology and departments such as marketing to ensure that the data needed is available for analysis.
- Create reports and presentations to expose your findings
Requirements:
- Must be enrolled in either bachelor or master programme within Mathematics Statistics Data Analysis or advanced computer science (either in Thailand or overseas universities)
- Some experience working with projects involving either statistics data and analytics
- Experience with SQL-scripting or similar
- Good command of English
- Result-oriented personality
- Interest in Big data data science etc. is considered a plus
- Interest in either E-commerce or online retailing is considered a plus
Internship Duration:
You must be able to join for a minimum period of 3 months. Applicants with no back-limit (close to graduation are considered a plus). Full-time position after successful internship is a realistic option.
