Job Summary

Associate Litigation Attorney - Full-time

Location:Miami FL

Required Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

  • Active membership in the Florida State Bar and admission to practice in the US District Court for the Southern District of Florida.

  • Minimum of 2-5 years of overall legal practice with a strong focus on litigation.

  • 1-2 years of specific experience practicing in federal court preferably with a focus on personal injury defense.

  • Proven success in managing and litigating federal cases.

  • Strong research writing and analytical skills.

  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.

Job Description

  • Manage a diverse caseload of personal injury defense matters in federal court especially within the US District Court for the Southern District of Florida.

  • Develop and implement effective litigation strategies overseeing all case management aspects.

  • Conduct comprehensive legal research on relevant federal laws regulations and precedents.

  • Maintain regular communication with clients informing them about case developments strategies and potential outcomes.

  • Represent clients in federal court proceedings.

  • Engage in settlement negotiations when appropriate.

  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless execution of legal strategies.
