WHAT A DAY AS OUR AUTO REPAIR SERVICE ADVISOR LOOKS LIKE
This position works the day shift Monday - Friday.
With you behind our counter our customers have a smooth time making appointments checking in for them and getting the services they need. You assist customers both over the phone and in person answering any questions they have and scheduling appointments for when techs and parts are available. As needed you order parts and speak with technicians to generate job estimates.
You check customers in when they arrive and collect their payment when they leave. When you can you suggest further work to the customer and strive to increase profits. A team player you complete other tasks as needed to ensure each days appointments are finished smoothly. You enjoy working with an awesome team and feel great about the excellent service only you can provide!
REQUIREMENTS FOR AN AUTO REPAIR SERVICE ADVISOR
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Valid drivers license and a clean driving record
- Experience with Techmetric shop management software required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2-3 years of experience as a service advisor or related experience is preferred
Although experience is desirable this is an entry-level position where well provide you with the training you need to succeed. We just ask that youre outgoing and able to effectively explain repairs to customers in appropriate ways for their automotive knowledge. You also need to be a team player who can also work independently. A desire to develop your skill set would also be beneficial.
