Summary

Oversee all millwright operations including service installation maintenance and repair of industrial machinery and mechanical equipment. Providing deep technical expertise strong leadership skills and a commitment to safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities

Partner with clients PMs and internal departments to ensure successful jobs (on-time / at quote).

Manage budgets material requirements resource allocation and scheduling for millwright operations.

Collaborate with sales in prospecting estimating quoting planning scheduling and invoicing of jobs.

Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency safety and service quality.

Oversee the planning and execution of machinery installation alignment and maintenance projects.

Ensure compliance with all safety regulations company policies and industry standards.

Maintain accurate documentation and reporting for all millwright activities.

Lead and manage millwright teams supervisors and support staff.

Train and mentor millwright personnel to build high-performing teams.

Evaluate equipment and tooling needs and recommend upgrades or replacements.

Qualifications

Illinois Class D License

Minimum of 10 years of experience in millwright work with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

Journeyman Millwright certification or equivalent technical training preferred

Expert knowledge of mechanical systems hydraulics pneumatics and industrial machinery.

Proven ability to manage teams and complex projects in a fast-paced competing deadline environment.

Excellent communication organizational and problem-solving skills.

Proficiency in reading blueprints schematics and technical manuals.

Familiarity with OSHA and other relevant safety standards.
