AJCs Regional Offices connect the local communities with AJCs global advocacy work to enhance the well-being of the Jewish people and Israel. We maintain the agencys nationwide presence by attracting leaders and donors to AJC enhancing the organizations influence with key local national and international decision makers and stakeholders implementing advocacy initiatives at the state and local level and establishing and nurturing community relationships.

Your Impact

This position makes an impact at AJC by playing a key role in executing assignments impacting a specific department or functional area; may lead significant projects or mentor/train others. Works with light supervision to solve routine and moderately complex problems and make routine and moderately complex decisions.

Incumbents serve the strategic and administrative needs of the assigned department by planning and implementing a variety of programs projects initiatives and events that advance AJCs mission and advocacy efforts. Senior Associates are responsible for executing strategies goals and objectives cultivating relationships and corresponding with strategic contacts coordinating events and meetings and completing research reporting and other administrative tasks.

Your Role

Contribute to the development and execution of the departments strategy goals objectives and action plans
Plan and coordinate advocacy and outreach programs projects initiatives events meetings trainings and/or missions
May support the work of Boards committees task forces or working groups
Assist with development efforts including participation in fundraising initiatives and plans donor outreach providing materials for grant applications and reports and related activities
Maintain and manage programmatic spending for the initiatives they work on
Manage department contact lists records data/databases and reporting
Track department activities metrics and impact
Research monitor and report on developments issues and trends impacting the department and AJC priorities
Support the departments administrative functions (e.g. scheduling note taking data entry record keeping expense reports)
Prepare and communicate pre-and post-meeting information and materials (e.g. agendas briefing background biographies follow-up)
Coordinate and attend meetings
Participate in internal collaboration information-sharing and communications
Develop relationships with relevant external stakeholders and organizations
Communicate and correspond with internal and external stakeholders
Draft edit and disseminate resources and communication materials (e.g. correspondence briefings reports newsletters bulletins website content social media and other materials)

Education Training & Experience

Bachelors degree
Minimum of 4 years of experience and advanced job skills and knowledge

Compensation

Salary range is $60000 to $68000 dependent on relevant experience.
