Job Summary

We are hiring a part time Nursery Assistant for a dynamic tree farm and nursery located in Salina KS. The ideal candidate must have attention to detail backed by a strong background in customer service. We seek an individual dedicated to providing outstanding service to customers fueled by a genuine passion for plants and trees. This is a great fit for students or anyone wanting hands-on experience in horticulture landscaping or just working with nature.

Hours: Approx. 15 hours per week (willing to discuss scheduling for the right candidate)

- Friday: 7:30 AM 5:00 PM
- Saturday: 8:00 AM 2:00 PM
Responsibilities:
- Watering pruning and general plant care and assist in nursery grounds maintenance.
- Assisting customers with plant selection and loading purchases
- Retail sales and service
- Bulk material delivery (mulch rock etc...)
- Supporting nursery staff with seasonal tasks and projects
Qualifications:
- Valid Drivers License
- Interest in plants horticulture or landscaping
- Ability to work on your feet and lift up to 30 lbs.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Dependable and punctual with the ability to work the set schedule
