Job Summary
This is a highly entrepreneurial team always looking for innovative ways to improve status quo and solve difficult problems in new and better ways. We are looking for someone who is interested in exploring and driving the charge on quality for multiple software technologies throughout the stack. You will work with cross-functional teams across Apple to proactively develop overall test planning execution and quality reporting for your areas of responsibility. The nature of the position requires the candidate to possess excellent communication and problem solving skills along with a drive to make a difference. The ideal candidate will be highly technical creative motivated and results driven and be able to work independently.
- Strong understanding of Embedded systems and Networking stack through coursework academic projects internships or work experience.
- Good understanding of testing methodologies and QA processes.
- Excellent analytical problem-solving and debugging skills and experience with Python or other object-oriented languages.
- Ability to ramp up quickly on both new and existing technologies.
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering Computer Engineering Computer Science or related field.
- Demonstrable ability to drive improvements in the processes and workflows for software development and validation.
- Demonstrable experience in automated test development preferably in Python.
- QA Experience in Client-Server Applications Network Software or Security Systems testing.
- Experience in defining test validation strategies and developing comprehensive test plans at firmware/driver or system level.
- Proven ability to work independently and demonstrable cross-functional leadership with good project/time management skills.
