What You Will Do:
At Independent Software deployment precision ensures mission success. As a Deployment Technician Level 4 you will be responsible for ensuring that critical IT network infrastructure is properly installed configured and tested in mission environments. From site surveys to guiding installation teams you will lead efforts to deliver fully functional network topologies tailored to user needs and site specifications.

Key Responsibilities:- Mobilize and lead network installation teams on-site
- Assess and document existing network configurations and user requirements during site surveys
- Design optimize and document network topology customized to each site
- Direct the preparation of engineering drawings and technical design packages
- Develop installation schedules and coordinate logistics
- Prepare detailed site installation and test reports post-deployment
- Coordinate post-installation operations and facilitate maintenance support
- Ensure configuration changes are accurately captured and documented
Required Skills and Qualifications:- Proven field leadership in network installation operations
- Expertise in site survey methodologies and translating requirements into deployments
- Knowledge of network topology design configuration and technical design documentation
- Strong coordination and logistical planning skills for on-site deployment activities
- Excellent technical writing skills for post-installation reporting
- Strong interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with installation teams site users and leadership
Education and Experience: - Bachelors degree in Information Technology Computer Science or related field plus eight (8) years of relevant experience or
- Associates degree in IT or related field plus ten (10) years of experience or
- High school diploma or GED plus twelve (12) years of relevant experience
Certifications:- Must meet DoD 8570 compliance requirements with:
- IAT Level II certification and
- Computing Environment (CE) Certification (such as Microsoft OS CE or CentOS/Red Hat OS CE)
Clearance Requirement:- Must possess an active TS/SCI with appropriatePolygraph tobe considered for this role
