We are looking for a NDI Robotics Programmer/Operator to join our growing team.

POSITION DESCRIPTION

The Robotics Programmer/Operator performs a variety of duties and utilizes multiple skillsets. Machine operators are required to follow detailed drawings and instructions. Sets up operates and maintains numerous machines and standard shop tools. This position requires the mentorship and training of other technicians.

The following essential job functions are performed as a Robotics Programmer/Operator:

• Programs and operates numerous machines.
• Carries out process improvement on current policies and procedures in addition to training others.
• Reads and understands blueprints isometric drawings and work orders.
• Receives and carries out directions from designated supervisors and production leads.
• Must be able to understand and comply with safety practices.
• Identifies and obtains equipment tools and materials needed to properly perform job function
• Set up scaffolding and safety barriers under direction.
• Properly executes Hazardous Material Disposal activities.
• Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly FOD free condition.
• Knowledge and use of common hand tools.
• Accurate use of precision measuring instruments (i.e.: micrometers calipers etc.) and working to exacting tolerances.
• Must understand and comply with Safety and 5S.
• Must understand and comply with AS9100 and Nadcap Practices and Procedures as applicable.
• Must work well under pressure meeting and completing multiple deadlines.
• Must be at work on time and maintain good attendance. This is a condition of employment and is an essential function of the job
• Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Due to our ITAR and EAR regulations applicants must be a US Citizen or of Legal Permanent Resident Status as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b (a) (3).
• This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required).Janicki will assist with gaining this access once employed. Special Access Program or other Government Access Requirements are mandatory for this position and requires candidate agreed to enter a Continuous Evaluation program.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

• A two-year technical certificate or bachelors degree in a directly related field may be substituted for experience. Minimum requirement for all positions is a high school diploma or GED.
• Experience using NX and CAD models strongly preferred.
• Prior experience in composite or fiberglass fabrication and repair is preferred.
• Must have the ability to read understand and follow work orders written procedures blueprints drawings and other technical documents.
• Must have effective verbal and written communication skills in the English language.
• Must be willing and able to obtain a government issued security clearance.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

• Wage range for this role is between $20 - $40an hour plus a discretionary bonus 401(k) matching vacation and health benefits. Employees can also receive additional pay for off-shifts off-site work and access pay. The range provided is Janickis estimate of the base compensation for this role. Actual amount offered will be based on job-related and non-discriminatory factors such as experience location education training skills and abilities
