Erosion & Sediment Control Inspector
BRUDIS & ASSOCIATES INC. (BAI) is a multidiscipline engineering firm providing consulting services to public and private sector clients in the Maryland Virginia and District of Columbia region. Since 1992 BAI has provided comprehensive innovative and effective solutions to our clients transportation stormwater and infrastructure needs.
Brudis & Associates Inc. (BAI) is seeking Construction Inspectors to work in Harford County MD on CIP projects that include roadways small bridges stream restorations and Developer projects for residential and commercial developments.
Required Experience/Skills:
- Minimum of three (3) years experience with Erosion & Sediment Control construction/inspection
- Possession of the MDE Responsible Personnel Certification is required
- Possession of SHA Yellow Card is required
- Experience working as a Code Enforcement Inspector a plus
- Ability to read and interpret project plans and contract specifications
- Knowledge of inspection methods and techniques
- Good verbal/writing communication skills and ability to work in a team environment withassociates contractors developers and engineers
Responsibilities:
- Performs pre-construction activities including review of site attend pre-construction conferences check construction stakeout reviews contractor construction schedule
- Monitor E&SC operations to ensure compliance with plans contract terms specifications codes and ordinances
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive project records including daily reports diaries materials notebooks as-built plans pay quantity records and monthly estimates

Salary Range and Benefits
- Non-exempt position with the likelihood of overtime pay (time and a half)
- Expected base salary range: $47000.00 to $75000.00 per year.
- Monthly cell phone allowance provided
- Job mileage reimbursed
