Job Description
Position Summary
Laboratory courses with large enrollments and multiple lab sections may require a Lead Laboratory Teaching Assistant (TA4) who acts as the team leader to the lab course TAs. The TA4 works closely with the course instructor acting as her/his liaison to the rest of the lab TAs. The TA4 oversees all course lab operations and may perform other TA (3/2/1) tasks if needed but primarily focuses on coordinating the TA Team. The TA4 term is for the academic year and requires maintaining current enrolled student status all three quarters. Faculty Lab Coordinator for both BIOL131L and BIOL132L is Dr. Eugene Joseph and he makes the final hire decision. The TA4 will be working with all A&P instructors during the Academic Year.
- Must be a La Sierra University student currently enrolled in the Fall 2025 quarter & maintain student status all three quarters
- Must be able to start work on or before the the week of September 19
- Must have taken and passed both BIOL131/L & BIOL132/L with a grade B or higher and have functioned as TA2 in one or both courses.
