Job Summary

Tetra Pak Global Information Management (Global IM) supports the Tetra Pak Group with all aspects of Information Management. We set the information management strategy and standards and work together with Tetra Paks Global Process Owners to automate our business processes as well as digitalize our products and services making sure we run projects & services that provide the greatest value for Tetra Pak and its customers. Global IM has approx. 900 employees in four main sites: Chakan in India Lund in Sweden Denton in the USA and in Singapore.

To implement our Business Transformation Project Portfolio we engage globally some 60 IM Project Managers. The Swedish Project Manager team is located in Lund and consists of 22 project managers.

We are currently hiring to our Project Management organization to support the delivery of the Tetra Pak IT Project Portfolio. We are lookingfor Project Managers with minimum 10 yearsexperience of IT Project Management.

This is a permanent position based in Lund Sweden.

What you will do

The IM Project Managers role is to deliver projects on time and on budget according to agreed scope with the right quality and with stakeholder satisfaction. The Project Manager works closely with the Project Steering Group Global IM Management Team Business Stakeholders Resource Managers IT Supplier Management and external suppliers. Diverse and distributed teams are a natural ingredient in your daily work.


As IM Project Manager you will:

  • Lead and manage large-sized projects including sub leads and team members.
  • Create and lead project organization based on project deliverables and define roles responsibilities and project objectives.
  • Plan and deliver agreed scope.
  • Budgeting and cost follow-up including resource demand.
  • Manage contractual arrangements with all necessary organizational entities.
  • Maintain the support and engagement of stakeholders involved including Steering Group.
  • Ensure compliance to established project management principles.
  • Share best practice proactively with other Project Managers.

We believe you have

  • Minimum 10 years of experience from end-to-end (minimum 2-3 cycles) business process projects i.e. from initiation and analysis to implementation (and possibly benefit realization follow up).
  • Vast experience of Waterfall methodology is a must
  • Fluency in English both written and verbal.
  • Experience of a global environment virtual teams across several time zones is important
  • Education understanding and experience of agile methods is considered a plus

All of our projects run Waterfall sometimes with an agile component.

Normally we work with a business PM in combination with an IT PM.

The successful candidate also has a certificate as PMP and a Bachelors/Masters of Science degree or equivalent.
