Job Description:
Direct Medics are working in partnership with a private clinical laboratory in Belfast to find a skilled Biomedical Scientist (Biochemistry). The role involves performing biochemical analyses developing and validating assays and supporting both clinical and research projects. Youll contribute to routine diagnostics and investigative work helping to improve patient care through a high-quality laboratory service.
Permanent contract 37.5 hours per week.
Requirements:
- BSc in Biochemistry Molecular Biology or related field
- HCPC-registered Biomedical Scientist
- 2 years lab experience preferably clinical/private
- Proficient in biochemical techniques and instruments
- Knowledge of UK lab standards (e.g. UKAS ISO 15189)
- Understanding of COSHH regulations
