QA Engineer Job Description
- Key collaborator with cloud architects developers and operations teams within the Public Cloud department.
- Frequent engagement in test automation and infrastructure as code.
- Oversight of QA processes across the groups cloud platforms.
- Work within an international setting with fluency in English as a mandatory requirement.
The Azure QA Engineer will:
- Spin up and manage cloud resources within Microsoft Azure to set up test environments.
- Execute functional testing regimes to validate the performance reliability and scalability of cloud infrastructure solutions.
- Analyze user stories acceptance criteria and requirements.
- Utilize and maintain automated testing tools and frameworks to support CI/CD processes.
- Work closely with development operations and architecture teams to integrate testing into the deployment lifecycle.
Skills:
- Software Development or equivalent on-going study field.
- Keen to learn in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with cloud environments preferably Microsoft Azure.
- Knowledge in functional testing.
- Some understanding of QA methodologies and the software development lifecycle.
- Technical Competencies that will be build:
- Familiarity with Azure services and infrastructure.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and related testing practices.
- Ability in identifying documenting and prioritizing defects.
