We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Clinician who understands and respects the values of our tribal communities. This individual must be able to act with both efficiency and care ensuring the well-being of our people. The Emergency Medicine RN will take on a primary role in caring for patients fostering a relationship built on trust and collaborating with others in the healthcare team. Together staff will provide care that honors our traditions meets the needs of the community and offers a meaningful and culturally responsive respectful experience for both patients and their families.
Requirements:
Specialty: Emergency Medicine RN
Licensure: Valid current unrestricted nursing license from the state of Arizona or another compact licensing state.
Certifications: BLS NRP ACLS PALS TNCC
Experience: 3 Years of Experience in Specialty
Job Duties
Plans implements evaluates and delivers patient care based on patient assessment to optimize outcomes and maximize available resources. Monitors records and communicates patient condition as appropriate.
Collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care including patient transfer discharge referral and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.
Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and provides patient/family education appropriate to age culture condition and circumstances.
Maintains clinical skills and competency through orientation annual and ongoing education and clinical practice.
Follows Tribal Health and client specific policy and procedures.
All other duties as assigned and specified by clinical assignment and site.
