Job Description
Grants Pass School District No. 7 is now accepting applications for the following TEMPORARY position for the 2025-2026 school year:
Location: South Middle School
Position: Administrative Assistant- Temporary
Hours: 8 hours per day
Temporary employees are defined as employees hired for a specific period not to
exceed the equivalent ofninety (90) consecutive working days.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Equivalent to completion of the twelfth grade.
- Knowledge of Business English office procedures and practices type with speed and accuracy follow oral and written instructions computer skills.
- Ability and willingness to adapt to job related duties.
- Ability to maintain harmonious working relationships with other employees and the public.
- Must have excellent written and oral communication skills. Must be able to effectively work and communicate with students parents and school personnel from diverse cultures and backgrounds.
- Must be able to cultivate and model a respectful working and learning environment. Must be able to perform under stressful situations while keeping a positive attitude.
- Bilingual and biliterate in Spanish preferred.
COMPENSATION:
- $17.10-$24.70 per hour (2025-2026 pay rates contingent on ratification and School Board approval). Dependent on approved accepted experience/education.

This posting is for a non-benefits position. Any qualified District 7 employee can apply for this position and the hours associated with this position can result in a new benefited position. This position can be combined with other District 7 hours to add to existing benefits. When combining positions the hours worked cannot conflict or be changed to accommodate the new position. This does not apply for temporary and overflow positions.
