Duties: Sr Plumber
Responsible for complex plumbing tasks provides technical guidance to technicians assists with coordination and ensures compliance in plumbing systems throughout a hospital facility. Leveraging extensive expertise this role is critical in maintaining essential services that directly impact patient care safety and infection control.
Required Qualifications: Sr Plumber
Minimum of four years plumbing experience around machinery required.
High school education or equivalent required.
State of Nebraska Journeyman Plumber/Fitter license required.
Basic computer email and database skills required.
Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to interact with a variety of customers (e.g. patient care providers patients visitors management etc.) required.
Mechanically inclined and proficient with plumbing tools drain cleaning equipment and diagnostic devices required.
Ability to read blueprints and plumbing schematics required.
Current valid motor vehicle operator license and ability to meet and maintain insurability required.
Preferred Qualifications: Sr Plumber
Master plumbing license preferred.
Familiarity with healthcare facility systems (medical gas biohazard waste lines) preferred.
