Your day will be a blend of financial analysis system optimization and cross-functional collaboration. Youll dive into complex financial data transforming raw numbers into meaningful insights that guide our studios financial direction. Expect to engage with diverse teams solve intricate financial puzzles and contribute to the creative financial ecosystem of entertainment and technology.
About the team
We are a collaborative and forward-thinking financial team dedicated to supporting Amazon MGM Studios strategic vision. Our group thrives on innovation precision and the ability to translate financial data into actionable business strategies. We work closely with multiple departments ensuring our financial insights drive creative and operational excellence.
- Bachelors degree in finance accounting business economics or a related analytical field (e.g. engineering math computer science)
- 4 years of finance or a related analytical field experience
- 2 years of building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision-making experience
- Advanced Excel skills (complex formulas financial modeling)
- Experience with financial planning systems and BI tools
- MBA or CPA
- Entertainment/media industry FP&A experience
- Public accounting experience
- Experience with enterprise planning systems (Cognos preferred; experience with Essbase SAP Oracle a plus)
- Demonstrated experience in process automation and system optimization
- Experience supporting month-end close processes forecasting and contributing to variance analysis with strong data interpretation skills
- Experience building complex financial models
- Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage tight deadlines
- Strong project management and stakeholder communication skills

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $60200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $128800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
