Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Trusts & Estates Paralegal to join our legal team. This role will focus primarily on estate administration and probate matters supporting attorneys in managing all aspects of the process from initial filings to final distributions. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented organized and able to work independently while managing multiple cases with sensitivity and discretion.
This is a hybrid opportunity in the Baltimore MD area (3-4 days onsite 1-2 days remote weekly)
Salary: $85-105k/yr
Responsibilities:
- Draft prepare and file probate petitions court pleadings notices and related legal documents.
- Assist with estate administration including asset collection valuation and transfer of property.
- Prepare and maintain estate inventories accountings and related reports.
- Manage deadlines for probate filings tax submissions and court requirements.
- Assist with preparation of federal and state estate tax returns and fiduciary income tax returns.
- Maintain accurate case files and document management systems.
Requirements:
- 4 years related work experience
- Estate and trust administration experience
- Bachelors Degree or Paralegal Certificate preferred
$85000 - $105000 a year
