Job Summary
About the Role
We are seeking experienced DC Operations Shift Leads to join our team in managing mission-critical data centre this role you will lead a shift team to ensure smooth and reliable operations handle escalations and uphold compliance standards across multiple sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the DC shift team to ensure seamless daily operations.
- Allocate shift patterns oversee handovers and monitor task completion.
- Manage escalations liaise with stakeholders and ensure SLA/KPI compliance.
- Oversee incident management ticketing and service requests in line with SOPs.
- Conduct routine DC operations including rack/stack cabling equipment setup and vendor management.
- Drive onboarding training and competency reviews of shift members.
- Maintain accurate documentation (SOPs EOPs escalation matrices incident reports).
- Represent the shift team during audits reviews and stakeholder meetings.
- Collaborate closely with Operations Facilities Service Delivery and Security teams.
Requirements
- Minimum Diploma in IT Engineering or related field.
- At least 3 years experience in a Data Centre environment with 2 years in a team leadership role.
- Strong leadership analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to draft SOPs reports and formal communications.
- Proactive with strong initiative in managing operations and incidents.
- Ability to coach mentor and supervise effectively.
- Willingness to work 12-hour rotating shifts (day and night).
