Job Description
Strong Test Engineer well-versed with Android Testing skills and hands-on in Simulators & Emulators.
Exposure / Knowledge in Unix Android Studio & ADB commands is a must.
Troubleshoot device issues and failures promptly utilizing technical knowledge and diagnostic and debugging tools.
Experience with mobile application testing on Android phone and tablets
Good to have: Experience in testing Smart Home Device Smart Display Home & Cameras
Setup and configure devices (Mobile thermostats cameras sensors etc.) would be a good skill to have.
Must have testing experience with strong understanding of testing process and methodologies
Should have excellent knowledge on UI Sanity Regression functional Integration exploratory and compatibility testing concepts.
Should be able to write review and execute test cases based on requirements.
Should have strong debugging skills and good knowledge in bug reporting bug life cycle concepts and release cycles.
Able to capture the system device and server logs and have detailed understanding of the same.
Identify and analyze device failures based on diagnostic tools logs and error reports
Must have excellent communication skills both verbal and written
Must be proactive and should be able to handle things independently quickly and efficiently
Collaborate with engineering or technical teams to resolve device failures and implement solutions.
Maintain detailed documentation of build installation procedures troubleshooting steps and inventory records.
