Responsibilities
Working under minimal supervision of the IT PMO Director referring only exceptional problems and issues for management review or approval the Senior Technical Project Manager is a key leader within the IT Project Management Office responsible for driving strategic initiatives and overseeing large complex programs critical to achieving the organizations business objectives. Operating with a high degree of autonomy this role manages strategic programs and large projects across a broad spectrum of technologies and infrastructures. The Sr Technical Project Manager engages with senior leadership including C-suite executives to align program outcomes with the organizations strategic goals.

Qualifications
- Strong technical project management skills including organizing planning and executing from vision through implementation large-scale projects involving internal personnel contractors and vendors
- Strong organization skills with ability to document activities anticipate problems plan schedules and monitor performance according to priorities and deadlines while delivering high-quality outcomes
- Broad experience managing projects across multiple information technology disciplines and platforms including:
- B2B Web eCommerce ERP and CRM applications for a transactional sales and order fulfillment business
- Internally developed SaaS and 3rd party integrations
- Data center networking and cloud infrastructure including on premise native and hybrid cloud solutions
- Globally distributed cross-functional teams across multiple time zones and cultures
- Proficiency with Microsoft Team Foundation Server Atlassian Jira or similar project tracking software
- Proficiency with MS Office Products: Word Excel PowerPoint Project SharePoint Teams or similar applications
- Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies
- Experience with customer business requirements gathering with ability to analyze project needs and determine resources needed to meet objectives
- Strong change management skills and ability to influence decision makers
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Strong skills and understanding of B2B eCommerce solutions with a focus on backend development hosting and data analysis
- Business acumen with ability to develop an understanding of the Connection business and the Companys strategies
- Ability to develop an understanding of the organizations customers and the competitive landscape driving business strategies
- Proven experience working with all levels of an organization with ability to develop strong business relationships within the organization
- Comfortable working with and across various teams and user communities across the organization including eCommerce Finance Sales Product Management and Distribution Centers
- Ability to solve problems in situations where only limited detail and standardization exists
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to communicate and persuade at all management levels and thrive in a cross-functional environment
- Strong conceptual skills with ability to formulate ideas and use imagination to achieve results
- Strong analytical skills with ability to draw conclusions from data systemic and rational
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to work well with all levels of the organization and to quickly build and sustain positive relationships with individuals.
