Job Summary
What success looks like in this role:
Unisys is seeking a highly skilled Engineer with 46 years of experience in system programming and security product development. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in C/C programming operating systems (Unix/Linux/Windows) and advanced security technologies. This role is ideal for professionals who thrive in a product-driven environment contributing to the design development and lifecycle of cutting-edge network and endpoint security solutions.
- Design implement and troubleshoot complex systems and security products.
- Contribute to the full lifecycle of network/endpoint security product development.
- Apply strong knowledge of Unix/Linux/Windows system-level programming and OOAD principles.
- Develop and enhance features in C/C and related technologies.
- Work on advanced firewall VPN networking and internet security solutions.
- Implement and optimize kernel-level programming for performance and security.
- Apply expertise in security protocols certificates and algorithms.
- Use software estimation techniques and design patterns effectively.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts clearly.
You will be successful in this role if you have:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field; Masters degree highly preferred.
- 46 years of experience in a product development environment.
- Minimum 2 years of systems programming experience.
- Strong programming expertise in C/C.
- Advanced knowledge of system-level programming and Unix/Linux/Windows internals.
- Expertise in firewall VPN networking and internet security.
- Proven experience with endpoint and/or network security solutions.
- Deep understanding of security protocols certificates and algorithms.
- Strong problem-solving design and implementation skills.
- Ability to learn and adopt new technologies quickly.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
