Who We are looking for:
The IT Infrastructure Manager is responsible for the design implementation security and maintenance of American Place Casinos technology infrastructure. This includes servers networks storage telecommunications and cloud environments. The manager will oversee day-to-day operations ensure high availability and performance of IT systems and provide leadership to technical staff. This role ensures the infrastructure environment meets regulatory security and operational requirements to support casino operations and guest experience.
What is expected of You:
Leadership & Management
- Manage and mentor IT infrastructure team members fostering a culture of collaboration accountability and continuous improvement.
- Partner with the Director of IT to define infrastructure strategies budgets and roadmaps aligned with business goals.
Infrastructure Operations
- Oversee the operation maintenance and optimization of servers storage networking and telecommunications systems.
- Ensure reliable uptime and availability of critical systems supporting casino operations gaming systems and corporate functions.
- Coordinate patch management backups and disaster recovery testing.
Network & Cybersecurity
- Maintain a secure IT environment compliant with gaming regulations cybersecurity standards and company policies.
- Implement and manage firewalls intrusion detection/prevention systems endpoint protection and network monitoring tools.
- Oversee identity and access management enforcing least-privilege and strong authentication standards.
- Ensure PCI DSS SOX and other relevant compliance requirements are consistently met.
- Develop and maintain cybersecurity incident response plans conduct regular risk assessments and lead vulnerability remediation efforts.
- Provide training and guidance to staff on cybersecurity best practices and awareness.
Project Management
- Lead infrastructure-related projects including upgrades expansions and new technology implementations.
- Work with vendors and service providers to evaluate negotiate and manage infrastructure contracts.
- Document systems processes and configurations for operational transparency and continuity.
Collaboration & Support
- Partner with vendors business stakeholders and the IT support team to resolve escalated issues.
- Provide guidance to ensure technology aligns with business operations guest services and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain positive working relationships with business stakeholders users vendors and regulatory agencies.
Experience You will need:
Required Qualifications
- 5 years of IT infrastructure experience with at least 3 years in a management or supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of networking (LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi) virtualization cloud platforms and enterprise systems.
- Demonstrated experience with cybersecurity operations risk management and compliance frameworks.
- Excellent leadership communication and project management skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as required to support casino operations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology Computer Science or related field.
- Experience in the casino/gaming or hospitality industry.
- Certifications such as CISSP CISM CCNP or Microsoft/AWS cloud certifications.

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods while working at a computer or in meetings.
- Ability to lift move and carry computer equipment servers network gear and peripherals weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to bend kneel reach and climb ladders or step stools to access cabling racks or overhead equipment.
- Manual dexterity to handle small components cabling and tools.
- Ability to work in confined spaces such as server rooms wiring closets and under desks.
- Sufficient vision and hearing to perform tasks related to IT infrastructure including reading detailed schematics and responding to auditory alerts from equipment.
- Ability to travel between different casino properties offices and data centers as needed.
- Ability to respond to emergencies after hours which may require being physically present on property.
Certificates Licenses Registrations:
Able to obtain/maintain necessary licenses and/or certifications as required by local gaming regulations.
