About Outpatient Clinics

Corewell Health operates over 300 outpatient clinics across Michigan bringing a multitude of care options to the communities that we serve. There are over 40 different types of primary care and specialty practices which allows those who work in these clinics the opportunity to learn and explore various interests or to specialize in one area.

Scope of work

Provides biopsychosocial intake evaluations individual therapy crisis intervention and clinical case management services to survivors of violence using evidence-based a caseload that consists of complex patients all of whom have histories of trauma including physical and sexual assault/abuse domestic violence gunshot wounds etc. occurring within the past three years.

Qualifications

Required Masters Degree Social Work or a counseling related field
2 years of relevant experience clinical psychotherapy experience using evidence-based treatment modalities Required
LIC-Professional Counselor (LPC) - STATEMI State of Michigan Upon Hire required or LIC-Master Social Worker (MSW-Master) - STATEMI State of Michigan Upon Hire required
