Job Summary

Overview

Salary Range:

  • Associate-Level (ASW APCC AMFT):
    $90000 $98000 annually
    Candidates must obtain full licensure within 12 months of hire.

  • Fully Licensed (LCSW LPCC LMFT):
    $98000 $110000 annually

Schedule: Monday through Friday. Standard hours are 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM with 1-2 designated days per week scheduled from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM.

Looking to make a difference and be part of ourAdolescent Teen & Young Adult Mental Health (IOP / PHP) Clinic in Walnut Creek CAJoin the team as our Clinical Intake Manager!

The Clinical Intake Manager reports to the Executive Director of a Clinic and sits on the Leadership Team. The Clinical Intake Manager coordinates welcoming families into treatment manages and directs the admissions process and authentically represents all Embark programs to parents/guardians referents and prior treatment providers.

Responsibilities

  • Provide intake assessments for each client entering the program.
  • Responsible for planning and overseeingadmissionsto ensure they are completed in a timely fashion.
  • Provide orientation for new clients and family members.
  • Assesses clients for suicide risk and performs screening for suicide risk when needed.
  • Provide direct support and supervision of multiple staff as assigned by Executive and Clinical Directors.
  • Create reports forExecutiveDirector showing trends in admissions.
  • Provides clinical and administrative supervision as needed.
  • Provides individual family and group therapy as assigned.
  • Assists theExecutive Directorwithleadership duties includingplanning and designatingresources following budgets monitoring progress and keeping stakeholders informed the entire way.

Qualifications

  • Masters Degree in a qualifying area of study is required
  • 1 - 2 years of prior experience in administering behavioral health assessments
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • State licensure in CA that authorizes the practice of psychotherapy (LCSW LPCC LMFT ASW APCC AMFT.)
  • Proficiency in administering suicide screens such as C-SSRS.
  • Flexible schedule.
  • Skillin verbal and written communication.
  • Skill in problem solving prioritizing and decision making.
  • Skillin organization and time management.
