The Revenue Cycle Analyst/Trainer is responsible for operationalizing and maintaining successful education programs for Nebraska Methodist Health System as well as researching and aligning educational resources with strategic focus addition to planning and leading revenue cycle training initiatives this individuals responsibilities also include monitoring quality and performance keeping the Training Manager apprised of results and using data to identify and develop targeted opportunities for staff development in all areas of the health systems revenue cycle.
Responsibilities:
Essential Job Functions
Develop organize and implement revenue cycle training program for new hires and staff development across revenue cycle functions.
- Complete all training based on approved departmental guidelines.
- Provide in person and eLearning based on departmental needs and material covered.
- Ensure access to applications and provide assistance with login issues.
Develop produce and maintain various forms of training materials.
- Coordinate with IT to deploy written eLearning or web based training materials.
- Engage internal and external resources to ensure training materials are up to date with latest information.
- Plan build and maintain the Cerner TRN environment to offer a real time training environment.
- Creates training materials for new project implementations.
Provide support to Revenue Cycle systems end users.
- Respond to requests in a timely manner.
- Troubleshoot issues and implement solutions to problems.
- Complete requests for additional access equipment and resources.
- Communicates end user process changes system issues and/or enhancements.
Provides onsite support and expertise in utilization of the Revenue Cycle applications.
- Serves as the subject matter expert in analysis of current processes.
- Performs onsite evaluation of processes and procedures utilized in departments and identifies opportunities for additional support training and enhanced processes.
- Provides on-site support during new project implementations.
- Properly document resolutions and ensure documentation is available for other users.
Collaborate with IT in testing implementation and support of software upgrades and enhancements.
- Test software upgrades and enhancements.
- Document testing results in proper format.

Job Requirements
Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Bachelors degree in business healthcare management education or related field preferred.
Experience
- Minimum 3 years experience in a healthcare or training setting such as Revenue Cycle Scheduling Registration or Billing required.
- Experience instructing adult learners preferred.
- Experience developing curricula and training resources preferred.
- Experience with relevant hospital systems (e.g. Cerner Revenue Cycle Applications) strongly preferred.
License/Certifications
