Job Description

Student Worker Office Assistant (Public Safety)

Number of Openings: 2

Purpose/Objective of the Role:

  • The Public Safety Department is seeking a student to assist day to day operations of the office.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • This student employee position will work in the main office and answer phones for the university switchboard and direct calls as needed.
  • Additional responsibilities include filing processing parking permits responding to questions running errands etc.

Qualifications/Skills:

  • Student Employees interested in applying should possess a valid drivers license and be knowledgeable of common office equipment use such as: printers / copiers and phones with multiple lines.
  • This position will require the student employee to have excellent customer service skills and to show great attention to detail.

NOTE: Employment sponsorship is not available for this position. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States.
