Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health Georgia was established in Cobb County Georgia in 1973 at the invitation of Governor Jimmy Carter and for more than 40 years has been providing new hopes new dreams and new choices for children adolescents and young adults struggling with emotional and behavioral health challenges.

Under the direction of the People Operations Director you will perform tasks to support the effective and efficient delivery of HR services including but not limited to; data management benefit administration electronic file maintenance compliance leave and workers compensation management and serving as a resource for employees and you will assist the Recruitment Specialist with the background screening for selected applicants and current employees; pre-employment drug screen and other new hire clearance requirements. Lastly you will serve as a back-up to other People Operations team membersas needed.

Must Have Previous Experience

• Minimum of an Associates degree required in Human Resources Business Administration or related field of study; Bachelors degree preferred.
• Minimum of 1 (one) year Human Resources experience required; two (2) years preferred; Experience using HRIS systems such as Oracle MyAvatar and proficiency utilizing Microsoft Office Applications and database management.
• Experience processing high volume new hire onboarding
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal; customer service relationship management multi-tasking skills and ability to work independentlyare required.
• Some knowledge of benefits enrollments processes
• Valid Drivers License required; Satisfactory Drug Screen and Background Check results.
