About the Role
As our Software Engineering Leader youll be a foundational member of the engineering team. Youll lead the development of our AI infrastructure and products hire and manage a growing team of engineers and work closely with founders and cross-functional partners. This can be a contract or a full-time employment arrangement.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and scale a team of AI/ML engineers and full-stack developers in a hands-on high-growth environment.
- Architect and build robust scalable systems for training deploying and monitoring AI models.
- Collaborate with product design and research to rapidly prototype and iterate on AI-powered features.
- Champion engineering excellence code quality and agile development practices.
- Make key technical decisions that balance speed scalability and innovation.
- Help shape company culture hiring practices and long-term technical vision.
- Stay on the pulse of the latest AI research and tools and evaluate their practical application.
About You
- Extensive full-stack software engineering experience with prior experience in a technical leadership role.
- Strong background in AI/ML including experience with deep learning frameworks.
- Experience in Java Python React JSDevops MongoDB and AWS accounts is ideal.
- Comfort with continuous learning and deployment and agile. (extreme programming Kanban scrum methodology)
- Startup mindset: comfortable with ambiguity fast decision-making and wearing multiple hats.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to handle tight deadlines.
