Job Description

In this role you will work in a lab environment maximising your engineering and scientific expertise alongside cutting-edge equipment to identify the root causes of electrical failures in Apple products. You will also be responsible for recommending corrective actions and presenting your findings to global teams and executives.


  • PhD degree in Materials Science Chemistry or a related field
  • Experienced in using chemistry analysis tools such as SEM FIB FTIR TEM etc.
  • Fluent in English with strong communication skills including the ability to seek direction listen to feedback and convey complex findings concisely and understandably


  • Specific failure analysis expertise or industry experience in any of the following fields: consumer devices batteries metals displays cameras or sensors
  • Adaptability to a fast-paced environment and shifting work scopes to meet business needs with a strong aptitude for learning new techniques
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple high-priority tasks simultaneously
  • Willingness to collaborate closely across different organizations
  • Software coding experience in AL/ML
