This position is in Cargills food and bioindustrialbusiness where manufacturers retailers and foodservice companies rely on us to consistently deliver the products and services they need and use our technical expertise and market knowledge to develop innovative products.


Compensation:
$28.15/hr

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Loading and unloading product from railcars trucks totes and drums with raw materials and finished products
  • Drumming product and storing finished product in the warehouse forklift use is required
  • Manage paperwork and necessary SAP data input
  • Run quality and analytical testing on in-process and finished product in the Laboratory
  • Operate batch processes filtration and pumping systems
  • Understanding and adhering to all safety rules and regulations
  • Maintaining a safe and clean work environment
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications


Requirements:

  • Right to work in the U.S. that is not based solely on possession of a student visa or a visa sponsored by a third-party employer.
  • Cargill requires employees be a minimum of 18 years old to work in a production facility.
  • Must be able and willing to perform with or without reasonable accommodation: bending kneeling climbing crawling twisting and lift a minimum of 50 pounds
  • Basic computer skill
  • Ability to work overtime
  • Must be able to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat cold dust loud noise etc. with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • Must be able to understand and communicate in English(verbal/written)
  • Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above)


Preferred

  • Previous experience operating a forklift
  • Basic experience troubleshooting various mechanical components and systems
  • Prior experience in production related work
  • Experience with loading and unloading bulk liquids from railcars or trucks
  • Experience and/or basic operating knowledge of batch processes filtration and pumping systems
